I. Potluck
You are all cordially invited to attend our chapter's semiannual
potluck! The event will begin promptly at 7:45 PM on Friday, November 10,
2006, and punctuality is appreciated. Potluck will be held in its
traditional location, at the American Legion building located at 4701 N.W.
6th St. (Gainesville, FL). It is sure to be a spectacular, unforgettable
evening, so don't miss out! Housing accommodations are available upon

II. Philanthropy Skating Event
Our philanthropy committee chairs have planned a skating event to
raise money for the American Cancer Society. The event is next Tuesday,
November 7, 2006, from 8:00-10:00 PM at Skate Station Funworks in
Gainesville. In addition to members of AKPsi, other Warrington College of
Business organizations have joined us in our efforts and will be
participating in the event. Admission is only $5.50 (which includes
skating), and 50% of the proceeds will be given to AKPsi and donated to the
American Cancer Society. If you plan on attending or would like to help our
chapter by making a contribution to the American Cancer Society, please
contact me.
III. December Graduates
If you are graduating from UF this December and would like a
graduation cord or stole, please contact me by this Sunday, November 5,
2006. I will be ordering the cords/stoles Monday, November 6th.
IV. Tailgating
AKPsi will be tailgating for both the South Carolina and Western
Carolina football games. Out tailgating area is in the Plaza of the
Americas by Library West. Feel free to stop by and say hello to the
brothers and pledges (and grab some free food). If you need the exact
location, just call my cell phone. Go Gators!
V. Homecoming 80th Anniversary Shirts
We still have a few of the Homecoming 80th Anniversary shirts to sell.
The design is really nice, the shirt is light blue, and the sizes available
are small, medium, and large. If you would like one, they are $10. Please
e-mail me your name, shirt size, and if you will be picking up the shirt in
person (it can be mailed). Also, if you would like to see the design for
the shirt, just let me know, and I'll e-mail it to you.
